"Is this the place?" Silverstripe asked almost to herself. Froststar's familiar scent of floated by.
"Yes, it is," her voice was just a faint whisper in the breeze beside her ears, "I'll see you at the Moondiamond. Remember to pick a deputy before moon-high!"
Silverstripe looked around. It was truly perfect in every way. For once in a long time, Silverstripe knew StarClan was looking after them. Thank you, StarClan, thought Silverstripe. "Let's explore a little then head back." She ordered. At her words, the cats split up.
Silverstripe went into the opposite direction of the patrol. The tallest tree was right in front of her. It had low hanging branches, and it had a large chamber of roots underneath. This would be perfect for Clan meetings, and the chamber would be ideal for a leader's den. She hoped the others found places for the rest of the Clan.
Silverstripe walked back to where the cats split up. Bumblefur and Whitefang were waiting with their tails curled over their paws. Willowfeather was most likely still checking something out. Whitefang started, "I found a perfect place for the warriors' den. It's under a blueberry bush. There is also a great place for the queens' den. It's inside a cave of brambles and bracken. I explored further, and I found a large supply of moss."
"I found a good place for the leader's den. Beside it is a perfect spot to call the Clan meetings," Added Silverstripe.
Bumblefur spoke next, "Near the blueberry bush, is an old badger den. It no longer carries the scent of badger, and it would be big enough for the apprentices' den. It also has two exits, just in case of an emergency." He looked at Whitefang, "Where are the elders going to stay?"
Just then the grey she-cat, Willowfeather, appeared. "I found a place that looks wonderful for elders' den! It's hidden near the entrance of the circle. The only reason I found it was because I thought I heard something over there. I explored and saw a sheltered little cave. I thought that would be the medicine cat's den. Beside it however, was a clump of ferns. Behind them was an old burrow of some kind. It's about two tail-lengths high, and it leads to a pool of fresh water. The apprentices can find moss and other things near the water. It's perfect!"
Silverstripe nodded, "I think that's all then. We should go back, and tell the Clan about their new home." The cats retraced their steps through the thick brambles. This time they went faster, there was no sign of danger, and they were eager to tell their Clan the great news. Finally, they reached the edge of the sharp vines. They still had a ways to go to reach the other cats. It was almost sun-high when they found the TreeClan cats. Some were asleep, and others were keeping watch. They didn't want another fox attack.
Silverstripe jumped onto a low branch that overlooked the small Clan. She then yowled, "Cats of TreeClan, we have great news." All the cats got up and surrounded their leader. Even though she didn't have her nine lives yet or her leader name, they treated her as if she did. When they were all around she spoke, "We have found a perfect place for our new camp." She told them about all the dens and the meeting place.
